Our Heritage

The story of charcoal, clay tandoors, and decades of authentic North-West Frontier gastronomy.

The Hearth Vibe

The Clay Tandoor Tradition

At Bukhara, tandoori cooking is not just a cooking style—it is an art form passed down across generations. Our clay ovens are custom-molded from local clay, seasoned with spinach greens and oil, and fired with charcoal to temperatures exceeding 700°F (370°C).

This high, radiating heat locks in juices instantly while imparting a subtle, smoky charred aroma that defines frontier cuisine. From the robust Sikandari Raan to the delicate paneer, every dish is cooked on iron skewers suspended over raw, burning embers.

Bukhara Culinary Hearth Atmosphere
48+ Years of Consistency

No Cutlery. No Compromise.

In keeping with true rustic tradition, we encourage our patrons to experience the food through touch. Eating with your hands stimulates the senses, connecting you directly to the textures and heat of our freshly baked flatbreads and roasted meats.

To support this tactile journey, each diner is provided with a traditional cotton apron, and copper hand-washing basins are strategically located at the center of the hall.
